Terms of Service
Last updated September 7, 2026
These terms are a contract between you and Shipkitt SAS (“Shipkitt”, “we”, “us”), registered at Massy, France. By creating an account or buying a kit you agree to them. If you don't, don't use the service.
Reach us any time via the contact page or at contact@shipkitt.com.
1. Who can use Shipkitt
You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live, and you must give an email address you actually control — we use it to deliver your purchase and to verify the account.
You're responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for everything done under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access; you can review and revoke active sessions yourself under Settings → Security.
You may create an account on behalf of a company. If you do, you confirm you're authorised to accept these terms for it.
2. What you're buying
Shipkitt sells source code, delivered as a downloadable archive. It is a one-time purchase: nothing renews, nothing expires, and there is nothing to cancel.
Two things are on sale:
- A kit, or all-access, which covers every kit published now and every kit we publish later.
- A build service, quoted per project. That is not sold through checkout — it starts as an enquiry and is governed by whatever statement of work we agree separately, not by this section.
Access to your downloads lives under Downloads for as long as your account exists. We'll make a reasonable effort to keep past versions available, but we don't guarantee any particular version stays downloadable forever — keep your own copy of anything you depend on.
3. Licence
On payment you get a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use, modify, and distribute the code as part of your own products, commercial or not, for yourself or for clients. No seat limits, no project limits, no attribution required.
What you may not do:
- Resell, republish, or redistribute a kit as-is, or in a form that is substantially the kit itself — whether free or paid, and including as part of another template, boilerplate, or starter product.
- Share your account or your download archive with people outside your organisation so they can avoid buying their own licence.
The short version: build your product on it, don't compete with it.
We retain all rights not expressly granted here, including copyright in the code itself. Third-party open-source dependencies remain under their own licences.
4. Payment
Prices are shown on the pricing page in the currency stated there. Payment is handled by Stripe — we never receive or store your card details. Depending on where you are, tax may be added at checkout and shown before you pay.
5. Right of withdrawal, and refunds
If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance purchase. Digital content delivered immediately is an exception: by completing checkout and downloading, you ask for immediate delivery and acknowledge that you lose that right of withdrawal once the download begins. If you have not downloaded anything, the 14-day right still applies — contact us and we'll refund in full.
Outside that, because you receive the complete source at purchase, we handle refunds case by case rather than on an automatic window. If a kit isn't what you expected, tell us and we'll try to put it right. This doesn't affect any statutory rights you have that can't be waived by contract.
6. Acceptable use
Don't use Shipkitt to break the law, infringe anyone's rights, or interfere with the service — including probing or bypassing rate limits, access controls, or other accounts. Don't upload content you have no right to upload.
If you've found a security problem, please report it via the contact page rather than testing it against live accounts.
7. Availability, and what we don't promise
We work to keep the service up, but it's provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind — express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. The code is a starting point, not a finished product: you're responsible for reviewing it, for what you build on it, and for the security, compliance, and operation of anything you deploy.
We may change, pause, or discontinue parts of the service. If we retire something you paid for, we'll give reasonable notice and a way to retrieve your downloads.
8. Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability arising from the service or these terms is limited to the amount you actually paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost data.
Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law — including death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or, if you're a consumer, your statutory rights.
9. Ending the agreement
You can stop using Shipkitt whenever you like and delete your account under Settings → Security. Deleting your account ends your access to downloads; the licence for code you already received survives.
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms — usually after warning you, and immediately where the breach is serious (for example, redistributing a kit).
10. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes are reflected in the date at the top of this page, and we'll tell account holders by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the service afterwards means you accept the new version.
